Online Electricity Bill Payment Facility launched in Uttarakhand by UPCL

After a long wait, UPCL (Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited) has finally launched an Online Electricity Bill Payment in Dehradun – Uttarakhand. Many other states introduced such facilities long ago which saves of a lot of consumer’s time & hassles. Now consumers can pay their electricity bills through Credit Cards (Master, Visa, Diner & Amex), Debit Cards (Master & Visa) & Internet Banking Enabled Accounts. As of now, Online Electricity Bill Payment is currently available for all KCC Consumers & all LT Consumers of Dehradun, Mussoorie, Vikasnagar, Rishikesh, Haridwar, Laksar, Roorke, Bazpur, Sitarganj, Khatima, Kashipur, Jaspur, Ramnagar, Srinagar, Rudrapur, Gadarpur & Kichha town areas of Uttarakhand

UPCL Online Bill Payment Facility in Dehradun - Uttarakhand

UPCL stated the numbers of Consumers for such facility will be increased as soon as upcoming towns get integrated in RAPDRP system. Before the commercial launch of the service, Online Bill Payment Facility system was under test mode from April 16 to July 10, 2013

Currently UPCL is charging convenience fees for the Online Payment Facility. Charges are mentioned below

Net Banking Rs.3.25 per Transaction
Cash based collection through designated retail point NIL
Debit Card – Visa,Master 0.75% of the transaction amount.
Credit Card – Visa,Master 0.98% of the transaction amount.
Credit Card – Amex,Diner 2.85% of the transaction amount.
Cash Card 1% of the transaction amount.
